Living in a tent was the ONLY option.

I will make the choice - to never do it again.

Thankfully I have married a Brit - they don't know what camping is!Kimnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8406669808763531908.post-38811323968665163052009-06-08T15:32:52.390-07:002009-06-08T15:32:52.390-07:00I once borrowed a thermarest from Rachel and it ha...I once borrowed a thermarest from Rachel and it had no valve to close it. She claimed it didn't matter. Really? Really? (C'mon Rachel, really??)

And do you see how Heather has become an advocate for the tent trailer? 8 years ago I told her I was just too old to sleep on the ground anymore, so it was the TT or bust. She's adjusted *remarkably* well as you can see. I'm sure Rachel could too :-)Monoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8406669808763531908.post-33695705098041170602009-06-08T13:39:28.999-07:002009-06-08T13:39:28.999-07:00you know what helps? a trailer. don't tell rac...you know what helps? a trailer. don't tell rachel, but a tent trailer is, technically, an "entry-level RV." and if you can talk her into a TT, you might press your luck into something by safaricondo. (though if you get one of their oh-so-cute trailers, all king size bed and SS kitchen, do NOT tell me!).Heather Zwickerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01314947039140280849noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8406669808763531908.post-44025764399816227512009-06-08T13:24:44.608-07:002009-06-08T13:24:44.608-07:00This was hilarious. I too like to stand up straight in my sleeping quarters and like to cook in a real kitchen. The other thing I hate - waking up in a tent that's been sitting in the sun. It's like a GREEN HOUSE in there! Yuck.

That said, I'm going camping this weekend because I am going on this big bike ride thing. The camping will be the least of my problems. Good luck on your trip!Vikkihttp://uppoppedafox.comnoreply@blogger.com
